Dr. Nicole Thornicroft is the clinical director and owner of Pro Function Chiropractic & Sports Injury Clinic. She is a doctor of chiropractic and graduated with clinical honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She also holds a baccalaureate degree with distinction in health sciences from the University of Western Ontario.

Dr. Thornicroft has completed post-graduate training in functional movement rehabilitation, athletic rehabilitation, kinesiotaping and active release technique. She has also a certified provider of Graston Technique (www.grastontechinique.com), contemporary medical acupuncture from McMaster University, and Mulligan Technique.

Dr. Thornicroft has a strong interest in functional health and performance and intergrates that into her clinical practice; to get the athlete back to sport, the worker back to work, and the person back to their daily life. Treatments may include soft tissue mobilization (myofascial release and Graston Technique), medical acupuncture, joint manipulation, athletic taping (including kinesiotaping), therapeutic modalities, and custom orthotics. Dr. Thornicroft is specialized to treat all regions of the body; the spine, shoulders, elbow, wrists, hands, hips, knees and ankles.  Treatment goals also range from injury management to performance enhancement.

Dr. Thornicroft is experienced in treating athletes of all skill levels from recreational to professional. When she is not treating others, she is off playing golf, tennis or skiing.
